The Drawer: 18 Again - 4th update

Coming into the drawing I have the Lamy 2000 and an Esterbrook 'J' model. I am pulling the custom wood kit pen and the Wahl 62-ASC of the drawer.

The Custom wood pen was a difficult choice for me. I received this pen as a gift and it was cherished in the regard of the spirit in which I received it. I love the wood grain and warmth of the material when holding it but wished that the wood was on the section where I held the pen when using it. The pens craftsmanship was questionable and definitely flawed. I am sad to say it but it made it's way for a better pen.

The mottled rubber Wahl is beautiful and pleasant to hold / use but I found it a little too small for my liking. I was reaching for it less and less because I had other pens that suited my hand much better. Another thing that stood out for me was the pen was missing a clip, I have been looking for quite some time to find a replacement clip with no success.

Though these pens are leaving, I know it is a "see you later" kind of departure. One day I will find a pen in which the grip is wood plus one this a larger size red mottled rubber. The search continues.
